Job Title: Inventory Coordinator
Location: 1919 Minnesota Court, Mississauga, ON L5N 0C9
Job Type: Contract (100% onsite)
Duration: 12 months
Start Date: ASAP
Office Hours - 8:00am to 5pm Monday through Friday - 40 hours
After hours: Weekends on rare occasions as required
Job Description:
- Reporting on stock levels, throughput, asset deployment requests and service levels using GE tools. (keeping track of requests etc. in GE system)
- Maintain an efficient PC and accessory inventory process following GE policy & Process
- Act as the single point of contact for OEMs/VARs in Canada should PC need to be sent back, should purchases need to be made
- Manage Depot request escalations. Tickets for repairs that need to be escalated to the next level internally
- Manage the depot audit and quality control by ensuring polices are followed.
- Minor repairs - Remove / replace SSD card in laptop, Replace battery in Laptop, Replace memory. Other issues to be sent to repair center
- No management of others required
Must Have
- Ability to work independently
- Effective communication skills
- Self-motivated with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects / priorities simultaneously
- Minimum 4 years of experience in inventory and vendor management in IT environment
- Experience in minor hardware repair ( for e.g. replacing SSD card and battery in Laptop, Replace memory)
- College diploma or equivalent work experience Excellent computer skills are necessary
- Proven ability to work in a large, fast paced, cross functional or matrix environment
- Familiarity with end user technology services
- Familiarity with warehouse
- Ability to solve problems and troubleshoot technical issues
- Able to lift 30 lbs weight
- Strong team player – collaborates well with others to solve problems and actively incorporates input from various sources
- Maintain the highest level of customer service
