Job Title: Junior Desktop Support Technician
Type: Contract
Location: Hamilton, ON
Duration: 3 weeks - May be extended
Start Date: May 30th, 2022
End date: 3 weeks after start date
Days Hours: Monday-Friday: 9am to 5:00pm or 8am to 4pm
Hours: 40 hours/week

Overview

End user support of desktop requirements as directed

• Go to a user workstation, follow instructions; check for a patch, if not present run a command provided by client, update a tracking sheet
• Trouble-shoot end user requirements as they occur
• Respond to trouble-tickets desktop and printers

Must Have:

• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to follow instructions
• Be proactive, follow up and follow process
• Be professional and courteous with end users
• Be timely and punctual each day
• Experience previously in deskside support for others
• Ask for assistance when unsure and follow up with users
• Must be double vaccinated
