Job Title: Desktop Support Technician
Type: Contract - 6 months (can be extended)
Location: Downtown, Calgary

Job Description:
Schedule: Monday - Friday - 9 AM - 5:00 PM
Must Have Skills:
- 3+ years of deskside support experience along with degree/diploma in related field
- Minimum of operating system knowledge includes: Microsoft Windows.
- Extensive Windows 10 experience is must
- Nice to have exposure of MS Office
- Good understanding of networking TCP/IP and troubleshooting
- Printers
- Lenovo hardware knowledge preferred
- Good communication skills
- Well organized & presentable
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform IMAC (installs, moves, add, changes) services on hardware on desktops, laptops, tablets, flat panel monitors, printers, peripherals, routers, firewalls, switches, access points, & servers
- Perform desktop and COTS software installation/upgrades, including staging & imaging
- Provide break-fix services
- Perform 1st or 2nd deskside support troubleshooting & remediating hardware, software, & network related issues for end users
- Provide 1st or 2nd level help desk support troubleshooting & remediating hardware, software, & network related issues for end users
- Perform LAN & internetworking related activities
- Handle bench repairs & remedial maintenance
- Manage IT asset inventory as required
