Job Title: Desktop Support Technician – Level 2

End Date: 2 weeks after start date
Days/Hours: Monday to Friday/ 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
Hours/Week: 37.5
Overview of Tasks
- Deployment of Lenovo laptop and desktop equipment
- Require 2 years technical experience to load pre-configured win 10 laptops and desktops with some data migration via a USB key tool
- Work as part of the deployment team
- Work under the guidance and feedback of Client/Local Ops team
- Carry out PC refresh activity as per guidance of Client/Ops team
- Tech reporting / work assignment to be done in accordance with assignment from Client
- Work around handling machines delivery / unboxing
- Device setup / reimage / deployment / machine handover to user / resolve any issues
- Reporting / keep records / share regular updates on machine delivery to end users
- Compliance and traceability is essential and hence process adherence is a must
- Follow-up with user for refresh
- Highlight to Local Ops/Client if users are experiencing issues with the refresh or having other challenges
Skills Sets
- Ability to lift units out of box, follow the scripts and deploy and set up the unit, connecting to the cloud and network devices
- Previous similar related experience
- Microsoft Office/Win 10
- Ability to trouble-shoot minor user issues
- Professional, good interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate and deal with people
- Good listener and follow instructions
- Ability to read and write English
- Timely adherence to providing feedback, reporting and filling out spreadsheet information
- Be punctual and complete the refresh of the allocated units each day
