Job Title: System Administrator
Type: 6-month Contract
Location: Woodbridge. The resource will travel to other locations (Brampton, Concord, and Pickering)
Days/Hours: Mon. to Fri., 8:30 am to 5:00 pm; “some” after hours and weekend work from time to time.
Starts: October 2nd
Ends: 6 months after start date
Pay Rate: $40.00 to $45.00 per hour
Work of Cherwell ticketing system i.e., Create tickets, attend to request, complete tasks, escalate ticket to the appropriate channels.
Active Directory administration as well as Office 365
Need to have working knowledge of Azure, MFA
Administer user access in Infor Visual, JSM
Server Maintenance i.e. Windows Patching, Nagios, IDRAC, SCCM, FM AUDIT, Veeam, License server Nhasp, JSM server, Visual server, SQL server, run reports (Visual)
Order hardware, primarily Dell products from Dell portal, Phones from Telus portal
Manage licenses. Purchasing from vendors, renewing, and keeping inventory i.e., Adobe, Gagetrack, Mastercam, MazzaCam, Vericut, Discus
Deploy cell phones – all phones are managed by Intune.
Deploy workstations – need working knowledge of MFA.
Working knowledge of Meraiki Wi-Fi.
Basic understanding of network topography
University degree/certification in Information Technology or related discipline.
Must have experience with ticketing systems, preferably Cherwell
5+ years of work experience in the field of information technology
Required: Microsoft 365, SCCM, Domain Active Directory, Azure active directory, MFA, SharePoint, GPO, Microsoft AZURE, Network security management, Microsoft Intune, PowerShell, and other scripting languages
Must have experience with Meraki wi-fi
Must have knowledge and experience with Linux and SSL certificate.
Excellent interpersonal skills for user troubleshooting
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft, Cisco, CompTIA+) are preferred
Highly efficient planning, organizing and time management skills.
