Job Title: Senior Infrastructure Administrator
Location: 8615 51 Avenue NW, Edmonton AB  T6E 6A8 (Hybrid – 3 days onsite) 
Duration: 6-month contract to start (potential extension/conversion)
Start: ASAP
Shift Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM (Occasional after-hours support)
Hours per week: 40
Rate: $60/hr T4 OR $75/hr Inc.

 
Responsibilities:
• Administer and support VMware vSphere environment
• Manage servers, operating systems, and enterprise applications
• Support Azure / Microsoft 365 administration and IAM
• Maintain networking infrastructure (LAN/WAN, routing, firewalls)
• Administer security tools (IDS/IPS, endpoint security, vulnerability management)
• Execute backups, DR, patching, and proactive maintenance
• Tier 2/3 troubleshooting and infrastructure support
• Support infrastructure projects and operational improvements

Must Haves:
• 5+ years Systems Administration experience
• Strong VMware vSphere experience
• Azure and Microsoft 365 administration
• Networking knowledge (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, firewalls)
• Security experience (Palo Alto, IDS/IPS, endpoint security)
• Backup/DR experience
• Strong troubleshooting skills across infrastructure stack

Nice to Have:
• Meraki networking
• HPE infrastructure exposure
• Security certifications (Security+, CISSP)
• Hybrid cloud experience
• ITIL exposure
