Job Title: Bilingual Deskside Support Technician
Type: Contract
Location: 111 rue Archibald-Campbell, Victoriaville, QC G6T 2W2
Duration: 3 to 5 weeks chance to go perm/contract extension if you fit in with the end client environment
Start Date: ASAP
Days/Hours: Monday to Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Responsibilities:
- Perform basic deskside support services installing and troubleshooting of hardware, software and network related issues
- Troubleshoot issues on PCs, laptops (Lenovo models), printers, etc.
- Active Directory, Microsoft Office 365 suite and services
- Handle software installation/support/upgrades
- Provide Help Desk support
- Support for Zoom Video Conferencing & MS Teams
- SCCM for imaging laptops (in progress of implementing WDS)
- Desktop Central for pushing out updates and patches
- Bell Total Connect support
- Cisco VPN support
Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities Required:
- Experience with Jira Service Desk or similar ticketing system
- Nice to have 2-3 year of field service experience doing hardware roll-outs, refreshes, and other deployment related activities, and deskside support
- 2-3 year of deskside support experience
- Have basic internetworking and troubleshooting skills
- Working towards or a A+ certification
- Must be a self-starter and have the ability to manage multiple tasks
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Ability to complete tasks effectively with minimal supervision
- Must be available to work flexible work schedules
- Must have a minimum of a Diploma from a recognized IT program
