Job Title: Bilingual Deskside Support Technician 
Type: Contract
Location: 111 rue Archibald-Campbell, Victoriaville, QC G6T 2W2
Duration: 3 to 5 weeks chance to go perm/contract extension if you fit in with the end client environment

Start Date: ASAP
Days/Hours: Monday to Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Responsibilities:

  1. Perform basic deskside support services installing and troubleshooting of hardware, software and network related issues
  2. Troubleshoot issues on PCs, laptops (Lenovo models), printers, etc.
  3. Active Directory, Microsoft Office 365 suite and services
  4. Handle software installation/support/upgrades
  5. Provide Help Desk support
  6. Support for Zoom Video Conferencing & MS Teams
  7. SCCM for imaging laptops (in progress of implementing WDS)
  8. Desktop Central for pushing out updates and patches
  9. Bell Total Connect support
  10. Cisco VPN support 

Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities Required:

  1. Experience with Jira Service Desk or similar ticketing system
  2. Nice to have 2-3 year of field service experience doing hardware roll-outs, refreshes, and other deployment related activities, and deskside support
  3. 2-3 year of deskside support experience
  4. Have basic internetworking and troubleshooting skills
  5. Working towards or a A+ certification
  6. Must be a self-starter and have the ability to manage multiple tasks
  7. Exceptional customer service skills
  8. Good communication skills
  9. Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  10. Ability to complete tasks effectively with minimal supervision
  11. Must be available to work flexible work schedules
  12. Must have a minimum of a Diploma from a recognized IT program
