Job Title:  Bilingual Systems Administrator
Type:  9-month Contract (Maternity Leave)
Start date:  March 25th, 2024 – December 13th, 2024
End date: 9 months after start date
Hours: 9 am to 5 pm (with 1-hour unpaid lunch)
Hours/Week: 35 
Location: 1001 Maisonneuve Ouest, Montréal, QC.  100% onsite
Hourly Rate: $50/hr T4 OR $60/hr Inc.

Summary
Under the authority of the IT Director, Infrastructure services, the employee is part of a team of Microsoft, Linux, and Microsoft Office 365 system administrators responsible for maintaining, backing up, securing, operating, and supervising the business unit’s entities' entire IT systems. This includes solutions hosted on-premises, in the cloud on the Microsoft Office 365 platform in an international context, as well as its solutions hosted by partners. He also participates in the development and implementation of various IT systems projects.

Finally, it ensures level 3 of IT support for all subsidiaries across the Americas.

Responsibilities
  • Provide level 3 support for the Microsoft Office 365 services platform (and all related solutions) in collaboration with an international support team at the corporate level (Shared Line of Services) for all entities within the Americas scope
  • Respect service level agreements (SLA).
  • Carry out operations in compliance with current ISO standards and ITIL processes.
  • Installation, commissioning, maintenance, updating, development, monitoring and securing of computer equipment in server rooms in the company's various locations or cloud-based.
  • Ensure maintenance and fault diagnosis on all computer equipment.
  • Ensure management of the Hyper-V and Nutanix virtualization platforms.
  • Ensure the proper functioning of the deployment and update systems used by support technicians and relying on the SCCM and InTune solutions.
  • Assist IT support and network teams in resolving non-standard incidents
  • Monitor the system daily and respond immediately to security or usability concerns
  • Provide and maintain documentation of all layers of a project and infrastructure
  • Provide Level 3 support on mobile devices management


Requirements 
  • 5 years of experience in large enterprise environments.
  • 7 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Teamwork and spirit and capabilities to work with colleagues and or remote departments located around the world.
  • Flexibility in working hours: Some maintenance operations may require to be executed outside of business hours
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written);
  • Solid ability to manage relations with employees and stakeholders.
  • Solid work organizational skills;
  • Strong ability to motivate and effectively support operations;
  • Proficiency with Windows clients and servers, Office 365 services, encryption, EDR and other aspects of systems security technologies;
  • Proficiency with multiple virtualization vendors: Nutanix, Hyper-V
  • Excellent time management skills and attention to detail (prioritize work and multi-task amongst competing demands);
  • Strong organizational and customer service skills, able to work with staff at all levels of the organization and independently;
  • Excellent analytical abilities as well as the ability to think critically;
  • Bilingual English/French preferred.
