Job Type: 1-year contract
Location: Mississauga, ON
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Shifts: Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM
Rates: $80/hr Inc. or $65/hr T4
Responsibilities:
- Work directly with external customers and internal team members to manage radio implementation projects.
- Create project schedules, monitoring and reporting on project status, flagging issues, identifying risks, and developing mitigation plans, hosting customer update meetings, and internal stakeholder meetings as well.
- Manage all aspects of the project management life cycle including project scoping, resource assignment, project plan development, project tracking, monitoring and reporting.
- Develop and maintain all project documentation (Project Plan, Issue and Action Logs, Risk Management, Communication Plan, Status Reports, ...etc.).
- Maintain the Project Management Office Library with lessons learned database, and apply lessons learned to all initiatives.
- Assist in the development and implementation of templates, procedures, and processes as part of the continuous improvement process.
Qualifications
- Degree/Diploma in Computer Science or related field
- PMP designation preferred
- A minimum of 5 years of project management experience, managing technology infrastructure projects, delivering project solutions
- Demonstrated experience overseeing customer implementation projects of varying size
- Experience in managing multiple projects at a time;
- Expert in using MS Suite including Microsoft Project;
- Knowledge of proven industry best practices and standards; and Project Management designation an asset but not required.
