Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM
Hours per week: 37.5 hours per week
Pay Rate: $25/hr T4 OR $29/hr Inc.
Overview
Our client is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Staging/Lockshop Technician to support daily staging and lock shop operations, assisting with tasks related to ATM safety deposit box lock servicing, key cutting, order preparation, and equipment handling. This role is ideal for individuals who are mechanically inclined, comfortable working with hand tools, and interested in developing skills in electro-mechanical work and locksmithing. Training will be provided to ensure technicians are equipped to safely and effectively perform their responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Work daily within the Lockshop supporting staging and operational tasks.
- Rekey safety deposit box locks on ATM machines according to established procedures.
- Operate key cutting machines to produce keys accurately.
- Pull required materials and orders from inventory shelves.
- Repackage items and prepare equipment or components for deployment.
- Maintain an organized and safe work environment within the lock shop.
- Follow all safety protocols and operational guidelines during lock servicing and equipment handling.
- Travel to different locations when required (mileage reimbursement provided).
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Comfortable using hand tools and performing mechanical tasks.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to work with small components.
- Ability to follow technical instructions and procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when working with locks and keys.
- Ability to lift and handle equipment as part of staging tasks.
- Previous electro-mechanical experience.
- Prior locksmithing experience or familiarity with lock mechanisms.
- Experience working in a staging, warehouse, or technical workshop environment.
Additional Information
- Training will be provided for all lockshop procedures and equipment.
- Mileage will be reimbursed when travel to different locations is required.
