Title: Warehouse Shipper & Receiver

Location: 3680 Odyssey Drive, unit 1, Mississauga, ON, L5M 0Y9

Duration: Permanent

Start Date: ASAP

Days/Hours: Monday to Friday 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM with 1 hour lunch

Hours/Week: 40

Salary Range: $20.00 to $24.00/hour or $41,600.00 to $49,920.00 annually

Vacation: 3 weeks

Job Objective:
Responsible for ensuring the accurate and seamless processing of incoming and outgoing shipments which include, but not limited to load and unload shipments regularly, with the capability of repetitive heavy lifting, and use any necessary equipment, e.g. lift truck, forklift, etc. Other responsibilities will include the inspection of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify contents and quality and may be required to assist in the scheduling of freight appointments. This individual must understand the impact of this position to other business functions that depend on the accuracy and efficiency of warehouse operations and be able to work in a team environment while under the supervision of the Warehouse Lead. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.

Responsibilities:

· Ensuring accurate shipping and receiving of products while inspecting all incoming product to ensure saleable condition

· Effectively scheduling daily deliveries and service requirements in an effective manner.

· Process all required paperwork and maintain adequate records for reporting and tracking

· Ensure that shipments contain proper documentation and if there are multiple items per shipment, ensure item lists are complete

· Monitor and keep up to date on all stocked inventory

· Ensuring that all appropriate safety regulations are being followed both with regards to personal safety and safety of inventory

· Maintain organized & tidy warehouse

· Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and Company code of ethics

Must Have:

· High school diploma

· 2 years’ experience in a warehouse environment considered an asset

· Knowledge of filling out waybills and bills of lading

· Able to work efficiently as part of a team and well as independently

· Physical requirements include: Walking, bending, reaching, stretching, climbing ladders, lifting 50 pounds, visual acuity to read bar code labels and location labels

· Forklift certification (or capable of certification)

· Safety boots

· Valid Driver’s License
