Job Title: Bilingual Deskside Support Technician

End Date: 6 months from start date
Hours: Monday to Friday 8:00am to 5pm (2 days on site and 3 days remote)
Job Description:
§ Troubleshoots and resolves any IT service issues related to operating systems and end-user computing
§ Builds and implements operating systems, and end-user workstations
§ Partners with the infrastructure team to troubleshoot and resolve network related issues
§ Follows the systems business impact assessment to prioritize system recovery in the event of a failure
§ Trains the technical support staff on solving common systems-related problems
§ Leverages optimization techniques to maximize the efficiency of all computer systems
§ Works with third-party vendors and consultants on developing system-specific skills
§ Performs Service Desk & Deskside Support responsibilities.
§ Complies with, supports, and company policies and procedures
§ Keeps the Senior Team informed of progress, issues, problems and successes
- Build and maintain windows server both physical and virtual
Knowledge & Skills:
- Bachelor’s in computer science, management information systems, or related field
- More than three years of experience in relevant business systems, operating systems, and servers as a systems administrator or similar role.
- Experience in light programming/scripting, project management of small initiatives, and troubleshooting
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products, Active Directory, and Microsoft Exchange administration.
- Working knowledge of networking concepts (e.g. Systems, Protocols, Directory Services)
