Job Title: Desktop Technician
Location: 133 Montee de Liesse, Montreal, Quebec, H3X 4B2
Duration: 4 week, chance of extension for 4 weeks at end of each month
Start Date: ASAP
Days/Hours: Monday to Friday/ 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $20.00/hour

Skill Level: Level 1 Technician
Responsibilities:
- Perform IMAC (installs, moves, add, changes) services on hardware on desktops, laptops, tablets, flat panel monitors, printers, point of sale (POS) + peripherals, routers, firewalls, switches, & access points
- Perform desktop and COTS (custom-off-the-shelf-software) installation/upgrades including staging & imaging
- Provide break-fix services
- Perform 1st level deskside Support troubleshooting & remediating hardware, software, & network related issues for end users
- Provide 1st level help desk Support troubleshooting & remediating hardware, software, & network related issues for end users for end users
- Perform LAN & internetworking related activities
- Handle bench repairs & remedial maintenance
- Deal with 3rd party IT vendors as required
- Manage IT asset inventory as required
Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities Required:
- 0-1 years of hardware, software (Windows 7/10), & end user support experience
- Have basic internetworking & troubleshooting skills
- Must have a minimum of a Diploma from a recognized IT program
- Working towards or have A+ certification
- Must be a self-starter and can manage multiple tasks concurrently
- Good customer service skills
- Good verbal & written communication skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Ability to complete tasks effectively with minimal supervision
- Available to work flexible work schedules
