Job Title: Level 1 Windows 11 Technician
Job Type: 3-Month Contract (High potential for extension, covering a medical leave)
Location: Hybrid – Montreal, QC (Tuesdays & Thursdays in-office at 1250 Rene-Levesque Blvd West)
Shift Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM

Rate: $27/hr T4


Role Summary
Our client is seeking a Level 1 Windows 11 Technician to provide immediate support for their service desk following a recent company-wide migration to Windows 11. The successful candidate will play a key role in triaging technical issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations, and maintaining high standards of customer service.  

Key Responsibilities
  • Issue Triaging: Act as the first point of contact for incoming service desk requests, with a focus on troubleshooting Windows 11–related issues.
  • Technical Support: Provide first-level support for desktops, laptops, and related hardware/software inquiries.
  • Escalation Management: Accurately document issues and escalate complex cases to higher-level support teams as needed.
  • Customer Service: Communicate clearly and professionally with both English and French-speaking users to resolve technical concerns.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal IT staff and support teams to ensure quick and effective resolution of user incidents.

Qualifications
  • Must be fluent in English and French.
  • Minimum 2+ years of IT support or helpdesk experience.
  • Hands-on experience supporting Windows 10/11 environments.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with desktops, laptops, and common applications.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a hybrid environment.
