Job Title: DevSecOps Developer (Remote)

Position Summary:
As a DevSecOps Developer you will be responsible for the ongoing secure and resilient design, delivery, and maintenance of managed service delivery automation. You will deliver backend automation and integration capabilities for service delivery activities, including but not limited to playbook automation, API integration, and DevOps CI/CD pipelines. Working in close partnership with various cross-functional areas within C3, you will assist with maintaining a secure environment and ensure that solutions are maintained in accordance with defined service levels. You possess technical and IT security domain expertise and have strong business acumen, helping to ensure that managed services balance customer needs with internal costs. You will be responsible for supporting automation capabilities. Hours of work are Monday to Friday – 7.5 hours daily or as required.
Position Responsibilities:
• Support the design, implementation, and maintenance of DevSecOps services and processes, increasingly enhancing service delivery automation capabilities
• Iteratively enhance managed service delivery through activities such as API integration, Azure service, custom code, and other automation technology development
• Support ongoing exploration, design, and implementation of emerging technologies to enhance service delivery capabilities, including use of machine learning and artificial intelligence
• Continuously increase DevSecOps maturity through Azure DevOps and other automation technologies
• Work closely with key stakeholders throughout the development and execution of new projects, backlog items and service requests to ensure that corporate information security objectives, including Secure System Development lifecycle adherence, are maintained
• Ensure that all development work is documented, tested and deployed in-line with established standards and procedures
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 3 years of IT automation or related work experience
• College Diploma or University Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Data Science
• Strong experience with Python development required, with exposure to other scripting languages (e.g. PowerShell) preferred
• Strong experience in automation development and DevSecOps practices required
• Experience in Microsoft Azure cloud services, including Azure Automation and PaaS services, API architecture, automation development, and industry standard security / control design
• Exposure to integration / use of machine learning tactics to increase operational efficiencies, increase insights, etc.
• Knowledge of software development practices and languages, include Secure Development Lifecycle practices
• Ability to work with internal teams, external customers and vendors in a professional manner
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Lean, Scrum and Kanban preferred
• Strong sense of ownership and teamwork
• Strong ability to communicate and document clearly and effectively
• Ability to follow processes and guidelines
• Ability to work with all levels of staff
• Ability to take personal initiative and observe confidentiality
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
