Salary: $95,000- $125,000
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Position Summary:
As a Project Manager (PM), you will be the primary point-person responsible for planning, executing, and delivering managed service and advisory projects on time, within budget, and in accordance with specifications. To achieve these important goals, the Project Manager will define project requirements and scope, acquire project resources, and supervise the efforts of project team members. Efficient delivery of project deliverables, effective quality control, clear communication of expectations to stakeholders, and upward reporting to senior management are critical activities that must be performed throughout each project's lifecycle.
Position Responsibilities:
Manage project activities throughout the lifecycle, including the allocation of adequate resources, scheduling, documentation, budget, and other factors necessary for success
Plan all project timelines, milestones, deliverables, and micro-deliverables using the appropriate software tools and/or PM methods
Maintain meticulous documentation related to project management activities, milestones, risks, issues, customer project dashboards / reports, etc.
Responsible for ensuring all project artefacts and data is accurate and up-to-date, including scheduling resources, verifying timesheets, project change requests, project milestones, etc.
Review weekly timesheets and review hours for completeness and accuracy
Compile reports of billable hours to be invoiced on a weekly and monthly basis
Compile weekly metrics related to the performance of the project with respect to stated objectives
Coordinate with vendors, partners and any other third parties involved in the project to ensure progress of delivery is on schedule and within budget
Closely monitor the efforts and billing of third-party workers, such as consultants, contractors, and other specialists
Ensure Statements of Work (SOWs), Order Forms, Quotes, and corresponding documentation with Vendors and Clients align and are followed through completion and billing correctly
Identify and resolve conflicts within project teams and associate work; create contingency plans to mitigate risk
Where required, conduct project post-mortems in order to identify areas for improvement and enhance project management practices based on findings
Augment and adhere to established methodologies for project management
Required Skills / Experience:
Bachelors’ Degree in Business, Project Management, or related field
3+ years experience as a Project Manager/Coordinator, or related role
Relevant experience managing IT and/or IT security roadmaps, projects, and activities preferred
Experience with IT projects that involved acquisition and implementation of applications and hardware
Strong understanding of project management practices such as project planning, risk management, communication management and cost management
Ability to work with internal teams, external customers, and vendors in a professional manner
Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Lean, Scrum and Kanban preferred
Strong sense of ownership and teamwork
Strong ability to communicate and document clearly and effectively
Ability to follow processes and guidelines
Ability to work with all levels of staff
Ability to take personal initiative and observe confidentiality
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Nice to have Skills / Experience:
Experience working in the Cybersecurity Industry or Managed Services Space
CAPM, PMP, or similar certification is an asset
Bilingual in French and English
