Job Title: Field Technician – Level 2
Job Type: 3-month contract (possibility of extension)
Location: Mississauga, ON
Starts: June 5, 2023
Ends: 3 months
Hours/Week: 40 hours per week
Schedule: Weekends: 8 AM to 8 PM or 10 AM to & 7 PM; additional shifts will be provided to add up to the 40-hour work week but will be around the successful candidate’s availability
Responsibilities:
Perform Basic IMAC (installs, moves, add, changes) activities
Handle bench repairs (depot service) & remedial maintenance
Respond/update/close calls from National Dispatch/Call Management Center
Qualifications:
Must-have a minimum of 1 year of experience troubleshooting and working with POS devices.
Have a minimum of 2 years field service experience doing hardware rollouts, refreshes, and other deployment related activities
Have A+ certification
Good communication skills
Ability to work with supervision or as part of a team
Ability to complete tasks effectively with some supervision
Must be available to work flexible work schedules
Must have a minimum of a Diploma from a recognized IT program
Must have a clean driver's abstract
Client will provide vehicle
