Job Title: Level 2 Desktop Support Technician (with Electronic, Computer and Software Skills)
Job Type: 6-week contact (very high possibility of extension)
Start date: February 12th, 2024
Location: Edmonton, AB 
Work hours: 8 AM to 5 PM
Hourly Rate: $25/hr Inc.+ Mileage ($0.48 per km if candidates have to travel to multiple locations on the same day).

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for ATM installation and upgrades within an assigned territory—all while keeping customers completely assured and satisfied.
  • Perform work on ATMs
  • Assist in site preparation, including installation of cable, staging of equipment, and minor testing of equipment.
  • Safe guard all assets used in the delivery of customer services (i.e. Tools, KEYS, software, documentation, and intellectual property).
  • Maintain stellar records and an appropriate inventory.
  • Capture customer information to complete any invoicing and stay in contact to make sure we are providing the best possible service

Qualifications:
  • A High School diploma or equivalent; Diploma/Degree preferred
  • Up to a year of related experience (but previous experience in ATMs or similar equipment is always a plus).
  • Ability to communicate (verbally and written) 
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Windows XP, and Windows 2000.
  • Amazing flexibility and a positive attitude.
  • This position may require prolonged travel, carrying and lifting tools and parts weighing up to 50 lbs., and bending, squatting, walking, standing and/or sitting for prolonged periods
  • Excellent problem resolutions skills
  • Driven to tackle any situation thrown at you, but also confident enough to ask for help when you need it.
