In 2000, PeopleToGo was founded to provide the IT industry with reliable, sustainable, and quality on-demand national resourcing solutions to bridge the gap between supply and demand in Canada. Now, more than ever, the demand for skilled IT talent often outweighs the supply. With the recent pandemic-fuelled spike in digital transformation exacerbating the situation, companies of all sizes across Canada face an elevated challenge to attract and retain the resources they require to manage internal IT needs or support their customers. This paper explores some of the causes of the IT Skills Gap in Canada and how companies can help bridge the gap.
